  Is it normal for my gums to bleed when I brush ?

No. A comprehensive oral exam and cleaning, combined with good homecare instruction, will help you maintain healthy gums. In general, bleeding gums are a sign of gingivitis or periodontal disease. However, other conditions may cause gums to bleed. If you experience consistent bleeding of the gums, you should speak to one of our dentists immediately.

  What is bonding ?

Bonding is the application of tooth-colored resin to repair and/or change the color or shape of a tooth, this practice is usually applied to front teeth.

  Do you practice Sleep Dentistry ?

No, we do not.

  What is the best way to brush a toddler's teeth ?

Using a small, soft-bristled brush. Apply a circular or wiggling motion on all tooth surfaces, especially where the tooth meets the gumline. Once your toddler learns to spit out, use a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste on the brush. Parents should ask their dentist to demonstrate proper brushing techniques during the child's dental visit.
